Retain Retainer

I guess I was free only for a few days. From now on, until the next 2 years, I need to put on a retainer on my teeth for 8-10 hours/day.
I find it more annoying than the braces itself, cos I need to put on and remove the retainer mould every now and then. But that's the price to look better, isn't it.

The retainer is a a mould made of clear plastic. First my dentist made a mould from my mouth to imprint the teeth, then she made a gypsum model of it (as in the pic), and then she put a heated plastic sheet and vacuum it to make a perfect mould of it. Amazing, isn't it?
